Boiler REPAIRS

When your boiler is on the blink, it can be inconvenient at best and devastating at worst. Either way, you’ll want to get it back up and running as soon as possible – and that’s where Domestic & General could help.

Choose between a one-off repair that’s provided by your manufacturer or a Repair & Care plan for added peace of mind after your initial repair. We work with a nationwide network of Gas Safe registered boiler engineers, who could attend your breakdown and use their expertise to get your boiler running smoothly again.

What if you can’t fix my boiler?

If you have taken out a Repair & Care plan, you’ll benefit from our no fix, no fee promise. If the expert engineers can’t fix the initial fault, or if the cost of doing so would exceed the initial repair limit of £500, then we’ll refund any monies paid up to that point. If you have opted for a one-off repair, you will have to pay a call-out charge.

Benefits of our Repair & Care plan

  • A replacement boiler up to the value of £750 if yours can’t be fixed after the initial repair (just pay the cost of installation and disposal)

Why Repair & Care?

With Repair & Care, you’ll get maintenance checks during your initial repair to make sure that your boiler stays in good working order. You’ll also be able to access maintenance hints and tips at any time during the life of your plan using our exclusive Boiler Care portal.

If your boiler fails the maintenance checks or stops working, we’ll arrange for repairs by expert Gas Safe engineers to help get you back up and running. If the engineer can’t fix your boiler or deems it to be beyond economic repair, we’ll provide a replacement worth up to £750. This only applies after the initial repair, and installation costs are not included.

There’s the option to pay monthly by Direct Debit (plus your plan will automatically renew at the end of the initial plan period, ensuring no break in care), as well as the option to pay in advance by credit or debit card.
