Standard accidental damage policy

For some brands of appliance, you’ll benefit from a separate insurance policy which is provided by Domestic & General Insurance PLC. This policy protects your appliance against accidental damage.

This standard accidental damage cover is available for the following brands:

AEG, Beko, Belling, Bosch, Electrolux, Lamona, Leisure, LG, Neff, New World, Siemens, Smeg, Stoves, Zanussi

Things you need to know

  • Domestic & General Insurance PLC is an insurance undertaking, not an intermediary. We are the underwriter of the insurance and do not provide a personal recommendation or advice.
  • Domestic & General Insurance PLC pay their sales agents periodic incentives (such as bonus payments) if they meet certain quality and sales targets.
  • This insurance policy is designed to meet the demands and needs of those who wish to insure electronic appliances and/or household goods (if repaired during the initial repair under the maintenance & support plan), against accidental damage.

How to complain

If you wish to complain about this policy, please contact our customer services team (see ‘Customer services details’ above). If you are not satisfied with how we respond you can then ask the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) to review your case. Referral of your complaint to the FOS does not affect your right to take legal proceedings.
